New Driveway - Staining Existing?

Mods, I created a cross post here in case the concrete thread isn't the place for it. Please delete one if needed.

We are having our sidewalk replaced and our driveway extended 12' to make it a two car instead of a one-car driveway. The existing driveway will remain (too much to take it out and re-pour to match).

Looking on the interwebs I see that we can stain the old driveway to better blend in with the new. The driveway is 25' x 8'. What is a good brand of stain that is easy to work with and budget friendly? We obviously want something of quality since it's driven/parked on daily.

Aside from the actual product we use, is there anything else we need to know for this DIY project?

Thanks!

H&C makes a stain specific for driveways that will resist hot tire pick up too. It can be found at Sherwin Williams.

I was actually looking at that brand online earlier. Have you used it or know anyone who has?
