need opinion on paint removal


any suggestions on paint and rust removal from red iron,short of sand blasting or chemical?i used a pneumatic needle gun(not sure if that is the proper name) in industrial environment,does anyone know if these are made that run off of elctricity?

No media blasting or chemicals?
Wire brush, wire wheel (on a drill), and a grinder (for the tough stuff)

Go quality, less wires flinging into your flesh

Either that or encapsulate it (like a paint, but it stops rust)
