Need help/ideas

I just moved into my house prior to leaving for my deployment. I am stuck on well hot to actually go about adding some color, due to the open ness of the house/ the textured walls, and the raised
doorways. Basically looking for tips/ ideas on how to go about it. I'm not changing furniture or anything, just looking to get ride of everything whitebedroom ( was thinking a dark maroonish color...like Sherwin Williams Fired Brick)

Living room/Kitchen/Dining room (Kitchen/Dining room was thinking of a dark green/mint color...granit is ubatuba)

Thanks in advance,Jeffrey

Go find your friend or friends wife that has the best style and have her help you with colors. I totally agree you need some color. Before I was married all my walls were white. Good luck!

yea my hole fear is the how open the living room to hallway and kitchen/dining room are. I dont mind having the kitchen and dining room one color, but how will it transition into the living room. Will it just class etc. I wanted to go with like a Sherwin Williams Rookwood Blue Green in the kitchen/living room or something possibely like that. My room I was thinking of Fired Rock

Not planning on running the same theme throughout the house, and thats part of my fear with all the open space. Will it look wierd having the dining room/kitchen one color and living room another when you can see both so easily
