My post was removed??

Guess my post about a product I found was removed. I didnt think it was against the rules to mention a product that people might want. I did include a link to the amazon page for the product, but I am not selling it so I thought it was ok.
My apologies

Maine1, it's that time of year when the site gets overwhelmed by SPAM. Your post, though innocent enough, was probably suspicious enough that the mods had to delete it. You can imagine how difficult it can be to keep up with all the junk that gets posted on here. Many times the spammers put up what appears to be a common question........they get some responses.......then they're off to the races with their spam. Just sayin.

Gymschu got it----A new member starting a thread promoting a product sure looks like spam---

New members need to be careful about that----We usually see a new name---link to a product--and hit
