Muralo Ultra eggshell enamel

HELP!!! We built our home 9 years ago. We used poplar trim throughout since we wanted white painted woodwork. After a few years we noticed that the casing around the windows and doors was showing a light amber colored bleed through. It was following the grain and finger joints on the casing. It has become more obvious as time goes on. Now the base is showing the same pattern of discoloration. All of our painting was done by a 30 year professional. He was very sold on this product and sold us. It is "guaranteed satisfaction". I've had the paint distributor out. He has offered up more of the Muralo product at no cost. Do I want to use this again? What prep should be done in advance? Why is this happening? The can that remains from the original job says.."Waterborne Durable Tile-Like Finish", "Non-Yellowing, Fast Dry, Extra Durable Laquered Look, Spatter Resistant, Stain and Mildew Resistant ,Water Clean -Up" "Unconditional Guarantee"....too good to be true?

Has anyone had experience with this product? I would appreciate your input. The labor factor will be immense for us!

Thanks,
Tom Schultz

Tom, I just stumbled on your post about the ambering trim. Same thing happened to me, but we used Benjamin-Moore's oil based Satin Impervo. We were told that any oil based product will amber or yellow. We bought a waterbased satin impervo, but it did not give the same effect. I am not sure if this is how things are going to change or if latex paints will get better. If you find a good alternative please post as I would like to have my trim in my kitchen refinished.

Just curious if a primer was used and what type. Sounds like an oil-based primer should have been used then paint.
