Muralo paint advice

Hi
I just registered and looking for advice on Muralo ultra ceramic paint. I had asked my contractor to use Sherwin Williams Duration paint for my lower living level and he switched to Muralo Ultra Ceramic paint instead claiming it was better paint. While I agree that the colors seem to match, I know nothing about Muralo Ceramic paints and have had very good luck with Sherwin Williams, anyone know anything about these paints or was my contractor just saving himself extra money??????

Muralo paint advice

I'm not familiar with Muralo, but it would probably be arguable that it's "better" than Duration
Probably more a personal preference than a fact
Duration is pretty darn good
(This from a Ben Moore guy)

It's also not cheap
I don't know how much Muralo costs, but off-hand I wouldn't be surprised if it was cheaper than Duration
That doesn't mean the contractor shouldn't use it if it's close to the same quality
(especially if they are more familiar with it)
A five or ten dollar difference per gallon is really not much, as most of the cost of a paint job is labor
Percentage-wise it's tiny

...from our perspective, that doesn't cover the cost of us driving down to the paint shop, waiting in line, and then for them to mix it...etc..

Maybe @ ten bucks a gallon cheaper and if you needed 5 or ten gallons
Then it might be worth it
