Mold & Mildew Paint

Hi. I need some expertise. I am a brand-new home owner. I just bought a house in May and I have been fixing it up, not moved in, since the close date. So, I finally finished painting and it dawned on me that I might have needed special paint for the bathrooms.

I just painted them with Glidden flat paint, nothing added since most of my house is the same colors as the bathrooms. Is there any type of mold/mildew resistant paint that's clear that could be painted or sprayed on after the room is already painted? Or do I have to repaint both bathrooms?

Also, I bought Satin Glidden paint for the doors & trim b/c that's what the paint guy said I should get for doors and trim, however...I was just thinking...do I need "special" paint for the doors & trim in the bathrooms? The doors & trim I have not started to paint, yet.

Please help!!

Re paint, I woud think so.There are mildew products to add to your finish paint, ask at the store. Zinnsers bathroom paint works well

Zinnser also makes an additive for all paints, called ADD-2 you can add it to any paint, and basically makes it similar to the product listed above

Fogot to add that you should be fine with that and as posted above the ADD-2 will work in any paint.
