Mobile Home Stomped Ceiling

My home had several small hairline cracks in the ceiling when it was brought in and set up. The factory service techs came out and taped and floated each crack and restomped the ceiling. After it dried it looked like speed bumps on the ceiling so I called them back out. They scraped the plaster off and put more sheetrock mud on and restomped it again. Today it looks worse than it did the first go around. I do not know enough about the repairs to know what they are doing wrong. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I will have to get them back out but would like to know if what they are doing is going to work. Each time they come it gets worse.

Thanks!

its possible that the area they keep fixing is unsupported or improbably supported for the drywall (or ceiling finish) to not sag or shift which would cause cracking or sagging along the joint in question.

Making a repair on a textured surface is difficult to hide---the patch will almost always show because the texturing gets filled ---leaving that area thicker than the surrounding wall board.

Only way I know of is to remove the texturing and then patch.
