"Matching" the viscosity of original paint

Well, now it appears that this man was an artist, not really a house painter ,as most of us are. No telling what he might have done, but I would bet turpentine more than penatrol.

BTW, love the name Lorelei, I would have named our girl that( if 1. we had a girl and 2. my wife would have allowed it, which she wouldn't)

I guess I'm hoping for a house painter who is a frustrated artist!
Stefan's original want was to be an artist... but he also had a VERY SUCCESFUL house painting operation as well. I agree that Stefan is a crossover kinda guy. Honestly, I think he thought in an "artistic" way for his "large (read: wall) canvas" clients. Personally, I think that there is a market for that "method" in the house painting world. In Flint (you know this if you looked at the links!) currently, rust is prolific...and all that goes with that! But... in the past glory days of Auto Baron Manses, there was a market for a painter who is also a "creative", as opposed to one with more of a "manufactory" mindset. Some of that legacy is still standing.

I guess I tend to prefer the former more than the latter in my "house painters"! Sort of along these lines...http://www.danpink.com/books/whole-new-mind.

Thanks for your thoughts, and insights....and for liking my name! There is another one in France. Just an FYI.

Lorolei Dubois is possibly the greatest name ever on a forum. In your case it's your real name I guess, but it sounds right out of a classic detective noir film. You're probably a beautiful heartbreaker.
