Masking tape

I have a debate going on with my wife, she saw that I used masking tape to tape off the trim on my next job, and she said I needed to use "painters" masking tape rather than the typical beige tape I bought, I never had a problem so I thought I would throw this out there,

Masking tape

painter's tape is less sticky, and only on half the tape, to make it easier to remove.
EVERYone used to use masking tape before the other types came out.
Or they got really, really good at doing straight lines!
I'll be doing some painting this year, and I'm looking forward to trying the new "frog tape" that's out now, the sticky edge gels to keep paint from seeping under the tape.
That was always my biggest gripe. That, and having to stop for whatever reason, and the (masking) tape sits too long and won't remove easily.
