Loose hardi siding

HAs anyone had experience with missapplied 12" hardi siding. The blind nails were applied too high so the wind is chattering the nails loose. Any ideas or experience for overcoming the problem?

I didn't think Hardi made 12" siding. Do you have shingle, lap, or vertical siding. I've heard the material can lift in high wind areas. I think the only way to fix it is to face nail it. Do you know if the builder used ring shank nails to secure it?

I tear things down and build them up.
