log/wood home resealer

What is the best product to use in a very high end mountain community to reseal wood siding and log sided homes. I have one person who is telling me that the only product to use is the Cabbot's Austrialin oil natural or amber. I have seen a lot of the paint contractors up here using products such as Olympic. What would be the best product that will last the longest?

Woodguard is what I have used on my log home.It is a great product and a easy application as well.Funny thing about this stuff is it takes about 3 days for a total cured out look. Here is a link.

I can't stress this enough, It really depends on the region where you live due to the different elements and climates.

Cabbots and Olympic are good just remember these products have different grades I would look for the higher premium grades. I have not tried woodguard
