Knockdown Ceiling Touchup

I have a couple of real, real small areas of spots on a newly textured knockdown ceiling that I need to touchup. The ceiling was not painted after the knockdown was applied. I have no plans on painting the ceiling.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to touch up these small spots that will blend in with the color, on the ceiling, to cover up my spots? I don't want to have to paint the entire ceiling just to touch up these small spots.

Hard to tell without pictures.

I'd guess that you might be able to dab some mud on with your finger, let it dry for a couple minutes, then knock it down with a mud knife. It probably won't look perfect, but might be passable.

The sizes of the spots are no bigger that the size of your fingernail in a couple of spots. I'll attempt to send pictures later. Thanks!
