A couple of years ago I purchased a 1950 home with the original kitchen cabinets. They were stained and varnished. I removed all pain, sanded and primed and used a latex paint..I was read that the kitchen cabinets are best painted with oil based paint. Now I need to know if you can put oil based paint over latex paint.
Anyone got tips for redoing old kitchen cabinets
I don't know what you were reading, but there are some awesome waterborne enamels out there.
Lets back up- First- you removed all pain? I've done that, but it was after painting.... ( lol I kill me!)
What exactly did you use for primer, and what exactly did you use for paint?
