jasco paint striper


i just used some jasco premium paint and epoxy striper to remove some paint off some metal.Worked good now i whant to repaint.I just do not know what to use to clean the surface with. I used isopropyl alcohol. Will this work It does not say any thing on the can. Thanks for any response

I think Jasco can be washed off with water, but that may rust your surface. The alcohol sounds like a good idea, and steel wool substitute (3M pad) to rub off any remaining residue. The volatile chemicals that do the stripping would have all evaporated off already.

Soap and water should work, correct me if I'm wrong but I think the can says the same.

ok thanks i used the spray paint can it does say work area and tools can be cleaned whith soap and water thank you

I've used lacquer thinner with good success.
