I've stripped four hundred staircases

and I want desperately to tell others HOW. But the tallest has been 3.5 stories. DOES ANYONE HAVE A TALLER ONE I COULD HELP OUT ON?

Well, give us more info. What parts are you stripping exactly? Treads, risers, handrails, spindles, stringers?

How many coats of paint are on it? Is it inside or outside? How big is this staircase?

You're looking at a tedious, unpleasant, time consuming job.

What kind of wood is it? Is it really old, good wood, worth stripping? Or is it common, newer wood, better left painted?

His tallest story was 3.5 stories long. He wants to know if someone has a taller story then his. Giggle Giggle. That's the way I read his message.
400 staircases. Whose leg is he pulling?

Should I sandblast exterior

He asked about staircases in that thread. I guess this is his way of bringing up the subject.
