I want a light-to-medium stained baseboard / window casings / and door trim. PLEASE NO WHITE FOR ME! Help!

--Wood species will be good stain grade -- ie, not knotty
--Stain color will be light-to-medium
--Wall color will be a neutral "warm" color -- ie, light-to-medium khaki, whole wheat, sand (something along those lines)
--And, I really want to PAINT THE INTERIOR DOORS!

Two questions:
1) What do you think of the stained trim / painted doors idea?
2) Should the interior doors be a lighter or darker color to coordinate with the wall color?

It's all up to you what looks good.
Any major paint company has an area where you can down load a picture of your room and color it any color you want to see how it will look.
