I used ceiling paint instead of primer by mistake

Hi,
I'm new to this but I just found this chatroom and I need help. I took off some wallpaper from a bedroom and took all of the old glue off. I had nice smooth plaster to work with. I then put some primer on the walls. I went to get the ceiling paint to paint the ceiling and I was shocked when I saw that I had primed the walls with the flat ceiling paint by mistake.
What a mistake, but now what can I do. Can I go ahead and paint the walls as I was planning? What will happen?
Is there somehing I should do instead?
Thanks for the help,
Mike

If you completely got the glue off the wall, nothing will happen at all. You can topcoat with the proper paint of your choice, no need to even prime. If you failed to get the all the glue off, the paint won't hold. If this is the case scrape off the failing paint, topcoat with Gardz, prime, and then topcoat.

The ceiling paint will eventually migrate to the ceiling because that's where it wants to be.......

Thanks Sirwired, that's what I did and it should be fine then.
