How to prep kitchen

Hey Guys,

I have painted my kitchen walls w/out primer (it seems ok) but now need to get up behind the cabinets which I can tell from looking need to be cleaned before painting. So what do I use, and what is the easiest way. I'm not lazy just want to get it done this year!

If your kitchen walls were previously painted, then you normally wouldn't need primer anyway
That should be fine

What part of behind the cabinets do you need to paint?
Literally behind them?
That you don't need to paint

Or do you mean the part of the wall in between the floor cabs (and countertop) and the wall cabs?
Usually a good TSP mix is the best for a pre-paint cleaning
If the paint co. suggests something other than that (ammomia or something), it'll be on the paint can

Oh, hey, if it's a greasy kitchen wall, I'll use a Top Job type cleaner instead
For the nasty ones anyway
