sdsester Member     Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Chicago Posts: 8,682	how long You can pain the will right after you tap it so long as you have burnished the edges of the tape to the surface. What you don't want to do is leave the tape on the wall long after you finish painting and the paint has dried.
