How do I remove a laquer finish?
I have an old dresser that has a laquer finish. I want to remove the finish and refinish it in another color. Advise please.

How do I remove a laquer finish?
There are many products avail to make the stripping job easer. At one time strippers were very volatile and nasty to use. The newer paste type strippers are much more DIY friendly. I would recommend starting with a stripper product then sanding and cleaning the piece by hand. The final finish will only turn out as good as your prep work.
