hollow core interior door painting

Hi all I am new to the group and I have a question. My entire house has those 6 panel white hollow core interior doors. I want to paint them to resemble solid wood internal doors. anyone done this or can give tips on doing this?
my doots appear to be eggshell type paint, are less than 10 years old and have a pressed in wood grain to them.

I do not need to paint in wood grain, I jsut want them to be painted to look like solid wood stained doors.
Thanks for any help you can supply and I will watch out for questions I can answer. I just finished installing hard wood to the whole downstairs if anyone needs help with that.

Stain is different than paint. I do not get the jest of what your trying to achieve here.

I have painted white hollow core doors
with pressed in wood grain in them
I have a friend who has solid wood six
panel doors that are stained in a golden
oak type finish.
I am trying to see if there's a way to make
my doors look like his by painting mine

If you go to Lowes, Home Depot or a decent hardware store they have stuff on this type of faux painting. There are videos online to show you how to do it. You can also find painters who will do it. It will not look as good as your friend's doors.

A faux grain finish on a hollow core door could end up looking pretty bad. You're probably better off getting nice wood doors installed and stained properly by a pro.

I've seen some videos on YouTube of people doing the faux graining to these types of doors - I really don't think you'd want to go that route

I didn't want a faux grain just the color of
solid wood doors
