I bought Rust-oleum Premium Composite Deck Stain. I started to stain my deck with it, but my deck is pressure treated wood. It took the stain and looks great. I am not sure if I should continue with it and if it will be ok to use. It dried right away. Any Ideas. Mu husband said to finish it with that stain because it looks great. Not sure. Any Ideas. Thanks:huh:

stain is stain...if it took then the wood is "stained"

if there was going to be any bad reaction it probably would have already happened. you can probably get in touch with rustoleums R and D department and ask someone, i'm sure they have tested it on PT.....they try to do the stupidest things they can think of that consumers may do with these products! They will probably say "well, we cant recommend or warranty it, but no adverse effects were noted"..etcetcetc

durability may be an issue, but only time will tell (and it also may not be an issue).

i would also just finish it and see how it looks in a year to decide what to do next.....
