Help with this idea.

I have an idea to start a residential repainting business that will hopefully eventually have a storefront. If you were interested in hiring a painter how many of us would entertain the idea of having a painting business located in a shopping center say close to Lowes/HomeDepot that you could go in look at a showroom for ideas, discuss your needs and leave with an appointment set for someone to come out for a job estimate?

I know this is a DIY site and most of us would do just that but, if you were going to hire someone would you consider this option? Thanks for answers and your time.

Help with this idea.

Most, if not all of US, would not be able to finance the overhead, insurance, etc, etc. It is hard enough running a business out of your own home. With all the new lead law regulations now involved, it is going to drive a lot of hard working painting contractors out of buniness. Unless for are already financially independant, I cannot imagine starting a painting business AND having a store jst for giving out estimates.

GOOD LUCK
