Help!!!! I Need Some Serious Help!!


Hi ya i got a guy in to do the tiles lol, what he did was sand tiles, paint them and scraped all grout out n re grouted it, what i need to know now is wether you can buy something to seal the paint as its easy scratched and i dont want it to peel or anything. is there a spray or something that i can put on the tiles so it protects them

Hey guys just fort id let you no that when i was wiping the tiles the paint come off in patches, ive decided to just get someone in to take all the painted tiles out and to just put new ones in, id reccomend anyone who is thinking of painting tiles to re think cos it is crap and such a waste of money. thanks for all your help.x

Actually, I would question the process that was used to paint the tiles first. You said he sanded and painted them. Did he clean them after sanding, then follow up with a high quality primer? Or did he just paint them.......I'm willing to bet it's the latter of the two.

i think he sanded then wiped and then painted, what i didnt get tho was primer wasnt mentioned on the tin of paint, its ok tho we tried and failed. at least i get to have new tiles.

I'm just sorry it cost you labor and materials from one contractor, and now you'll be paying for tiles....it always costs the homeowner more when something is done incorrectly.
