HELP chrome paint looks silver
i am currently working on a controller for a games console , i brought some metalic chrome spray , only cost £1.50 for 200ml and the item i tryed to spraypaint was white, i cleaned sanded it down , then i put first lay then second the third , but it just looks grey/silver with no mirror finish , but on the second controler i did , i touched it to see if it was dry and it wasnt but were my finder was its come out in mirror finished look , how i wanted it but without my finger print lol
i sprayed this in my back yard then left them to dry out there and it was pretty cold , i left 30-45mins before each coat ,
i did buy some white primer , but was told that didnt need any ,the stuff im using was CHROME finish auto SPRAY PAINT can i blame it on my tools :) or is it just me letting it dry outside or was i using too much ? i have a hd pic of the controler shell if any1 wants a look ,
any help apreciated , scott
If you expect any paint to look like polished real chrome, you are in for a big disappointment.
