Heavy dew ruined my paint job

I apparently painted too late in the day yesterday. Came out this morning in a heavy mist and saw that the last section I painted (about 100 sq. ft) never dried and was dripping. I used Behr ultra latex. I was painting over well washed and preped asbestos shingle siding which generally has good adhesion properties. I wiped the area down and removed all runs. Does this area just need to just dry out before repainting or should i prep it in some way to assure good adhesion. The area adjacent which I painted several hours earlier seems to have dried o.k. Damn fall weather!

bonzo, unfortunately that's one of the hazards of painting this time of year. It's happened to me on occassion. Just let the siding dry out and recoat it. There is no extra prep necessary.
