graco auto clean plugged the sprayer
Hello everyone
I recently bought a graco 695 Ultra Max sprayer (used) and have been using it to paint exteriors, and ceilings. This sprayer has the autoclean feature on it, that you screw the gun onto it, and it does it's thing for 5 minutes or so. When I bought the sprayer, the guy said that it has this feature, but he's never bothered to use it. Well, today, after using the sprayer I decided to try this autoclean out. Long story short it blew some old paint sludge into the gun and plugged it. Well I took the gun apart and got it working again, so I decided to just clean it manually like I normally do. Well when I was cleaning it, I noticed that the digital display no longer registers any pressure, and the line keeps on building pressure and doesn't stop. I dont think that the pressure transducer (or whatever its called) is broken, but I assume that more paint sludge is blocking the sensor so it can't get a reading. So, my question is, does anyone know where to begin to try and clean the insides of this thing??? Jason |
