glue bleeding through paint

We used the plastic this winter to cover our windows to keep drafts out and the tape left behind a glue. We started painting the woodwork white and the glue is bleeding through a brown stain. no matter how many coats we use it still bleeds through. Any ideas how to cover it?? Help!

you can put 7 coats and you will still see it.....the only way is the right way and that's to sand that area down

Sanging it off completly would be best or you can apply a stain blocking primer such as Bin, then your finish coat.

Are you going to let Bella do it? I think Dexter would have better luck.
