Glow Paint on Walkway Stones

Has anyone tried the glow paints which soak up the sun during the day and glow like solar lights at night on walkway stones?

They'd be awesome if the sun just shut off at the end of the day like a light switch.

I painted some globes for my garden and it takes so long for it to actually get dark after the shadows cover the globes to start them glowing that I count it a bust as an experiment. It would help too if the daytime color wasn't "mucous".

Had to step back in on this one. The radium girls were popular at night clubs too. They did their nails and even made their teeth glow with leftover watch dial paint. They were assured it was safe. It was not and their law suit did more for health physics and worker safety than just about any other litigation of the time. Most all of them got serious cancers though. Most were dismissed, at first, as women of poor character and their deaths were ruled as from syphilis. Geiger counters seldom lie though.

You would be better off buying a set of solar powered lights for the walkway. All glow in the dark paint has to be somewhat radioactive.

Don't be scared. The radium they used only had a halflife of 1600-1690 years and I am sure wastes were well managed. That is already down to 1500-1590 years now anyhow.
