Gardz vs. high build primer vs. skim coat?

I have a small bathroom that has a lot of imperfections on the wall due to wallpaper removal.

Wondering if I could use gardz or high build primer to smooth out the imperfections or would skim coat be best option?

thanks

Any form of paint is just going to make the flaws stick out not cover them up.
Take the time to fix it!
And make sure all the old glue is off the wall!!

When I strip paper, I get as much paste off the walls as i can , then before any repairs i give it a coat of Gardz to lock down any paste residue. it will not help with filling imperfections, but it will stop the paste from ruining your job. Then if it needs it a skim, do that - which will be easier because of the Gardz, sand smooth- prime with a primer sealer, and paint.
Sounds like a lot- but it is what I do all the time.
Nobody said this painting stuff was easy ( oh ya, HD did- but they lie..)
