Garage peeled paint door.

So I scraped off the garage door peeled paint and sand. Should I continue to scrap off more ? What do I do next?

I also did a test, it is latex.

For interior paint what are affordable paint out there better than Behr and lowes paint?
I live in CA by the way.

Scrape anything that doesn't put up a good fight to stay stuck onto the surface. Anything is better that Behr or Valspar.

Are you wanting to paint your garage door with interior paint because it is an entry door from your garage into your house?

or

Are you actually wanting to paint your exterior garage door with interior paint

or

Are you wanting to know what interior paint is the best because you also want to paint the interior of your home?

Interior paints for interior projects and exterior paints for exterior projects.

With that said. You said you live in CA. Check out Kelly Moore and Frazee Paints

Do I apply primer directly onto after scraping ,sanding, or what do you guys use to cover those paint peeled holes?

If you need to be around the Behr or other crap paint and primer price point use the contractor grades of any of the major paint brands from a real paint store and you will be much better off. Benjamin Moore is my favored brand but I also use a lot of Sherwin Williams. Friends in California use Kelly Moore and seem pleased. That brand is not available near me.

The same thing that is happening in the first place. The primer sticks to the substrate, the paint sticks to the primer( good paint and primer)

It looks like i need more than 3 layers of paint to be even with the original peeled layer.
Right now I'm using leftover kilz2 primer and behr, i know its crap didn't want to throw away it. I wont use it again.

When brushing painting the door trim , baseboard, cuts What is the proper way to use the brush? Do I apply the paint with one stroke, back-brush with another stroke?

I understand it takes years of training and practice. Should i find a job as a painter and start there?

No, just go rent "Karate Kid" and practice the "paint the fence" moves.
