Front Door

I want to paint my front door, it appears to be metal core with wood finish? could that be? if so what kind of paint should I use?

Sounds like a metal door with a woodgrain finish.

It needs to be thoroughly sanded and primed with a solvent based primer. Preferrably, a bonding primer. Sand again and paint, at least 2 coats.
