French Doors

I have a set of doors, separating a living rm and dining rm. I had the doors refinished (stain/varnished) my problem is the windows in the doors 15 panes on each door, the windows on each door have become coated with some type of white film on the windows after refinishing, WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD CLEANING SOLUTION TO REMOVE THIS WHITE MILKY FILM FROM THE WINDOWS WITHOUT DAMAGING THE WOOD THAT SEPARATES THE WINDOW PANES. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING FROM RAZOR SCRAPING TO HOME REMIDIES . WITH LITTLE SUCESS:furious:

Are you sure the film is not between the panes of glass?

Use a flashlight and shine it at an angle.....you should be able to see if the film is between panes of glass....

My fear is that it's tempered laminated glass....who ever did the stripping used stripper that got into the glass....and melted the laminate....

If this is the case....replacing the glass might be your only option....

One thing you can do without damaging anything....use a sharp razor blade and scrape the surface of the glass....if anything is on it...it will scrape off.

Oh yes, i've tried cleaning solutions but nothing seems to cut the milky film, not so sure that i should remove doors, and put on a work bench try to clean that way,, i would like to know how to remove each single pane but not sure which side of door would be easiest to remove the small would trim

If you paid a company/contractor to refinish these doors for you then this should be their problem to resolve, not yours.
