I just recently purchased an hvlp gun that requires an air compressor with 10 cfm's at 20 psi. The problem I am having is finding the correct compressor to meet those specs. Preferably portable.
you won't find a pancake that can run a real hvlp gun. for $300ish you can buy a craftsman 33gal or one of the similar oil lube compressors at depot or lowes. if you have to stay on 110v it's really your only shot.
You need to check with the gun manufacturer. A lot of guns,,all that have the big connector,
are designed to run off a turbine.
