fiberglass entry door

I have a black front entry door, presumably fiberglass. A wreath has scratched the door. I used a gray primer on these small areas, then used a latex paint, applied with abrush. After painting two coats, the primed areas are still raised. Can I sand these and start over? Would rolling the finished coat be better? Thanks.

you have to completely sand down the primer raised area til you can't feel it with your finger any more, and repaint another coat or two...

fiberglass entry door

Just so you know any door company I've even delt with has warnings about painting any door a dark color. If it's in the direct sun it will distroy the door over time.
