Fence Stain Guidance

I have 421 linear feet of fence I need to stain. The boards are PTP and as you can see are mostly horizontal. I'm leaning towards Cabot's semi-transparent because I'd like to see a little of the wood grain and because Cabots is readily available in my area where Sikkens or DEFY are not. Do I go with the oil or ALKYD? Suggestions

GO WITH CABOT!!!! Superior to Defy, same quality as Sikkens, but more affordable. Alkyd is a type of oil. If you want a semi-transparent oil stain, go with Cabot's 0300 series. I have sold it for five years now, and it's never let me down. Be sure to brush it or spray and back brush, one coat only. do not over apply. and apply in the shade, if possible. here are the specs: http://www.cabotstain.com/pdf/STRN0300.pdf

Thanks. Why do you prefer the 0300 series over the 1300 series?

HIGHER VOC means more solvents, which means better penetration, which means better longevity.
