Which Exterior Paint is Best for "Sunny" Florida???

Help....We are having our house painted soon...I know this is a "DIY" chatroom, however, I have been trying to research exterior paint reviews and I am more confused than ever!
We live in a 2 story cedar shake sided home - built in the 1930's.
It has old paint on it - very faded on one side, some chalking too.
I thought SW Duration was the best (it sure is the most$$), however, why can't I just go with Valspar Duramax instead?? - I happen to love Lowes in general and I dont see why their best product wont look and last just as long.
Please - if you've used both of these - or either, I would love some sound advice!!
Thanks and have a great God Blessed Day!

Which Exterior Paint is Best for "Sunny" Florida???

Well, here's a case where I'd recommend looking into a local product
Flex-Bon is made in Sunny (and humid) Florida for Sunny Florida Homes

As opposed to national brands made to work everywhere from Canada to Mexico, from out here in Salty Wet Cape Cod to Dry Dry Arizona, if Flex-Bon has a product for cedar, I'd use it

*I've only used their paint for stucco when down there, but it was excellent
I'd have no hesitation using any product they recommend for cedar
