exterior paint for a bathroom
is it ok to use exterior oil enamel paint for an interior bathroom?

No, not in my opinion. Exterior oil depend on UV to cure. It could stay tacky for quite some time if you try to use it inside. It's going to yellow like mad as well.

i painted my bathroom with the exterior paint a year+ ago. Mustard/beige color. So far, it seems fine and it seems to be an exceptionally tough finish
that holds up great to moisture.

I agree with Poppameth, Exterior paints are formulated for high UV-- not indoors:no:

Not a good idea, no
Formulated for high UV protection and mildew resistance in an open outdoor area
These exterior paints continue to "off-gas" after curing
Aside from the problems you'll have (or the next occupant will have) trying to repaint, it could lead to total failure (and re-rocking as the cure) eventually
Not that it might not might
But I've seen way to many failures to say there's not a huge chance

It's one of the biggest "it seemed like a good idea at the time" in painting
Right up there with painting over wallpaper and painting bathroom tiles
