exterior cinder block walls

My homes exterior is cinder block and it has been painted and the old paint is flaking off. I need to know the best diy way to cover these walls! What type of paint or stucco or whatever other finishes! I had thought about using the garage floor paint with epoxy. Open to any suggestions!

I would use Sherwin Williams Shercrete. It is for interior-exterior masonry surfaces. It comes in any color, does not need primer, is breathable, flexible and is also a waterprofer. Apply two coats. You can click on our concrete pool deck coatings here http://www.kelloggspainting.com/Concrete-Coatings.html to learn more about Shercrete.

You could also look into a product called Thorocoat - or even better IMO - is thorolastic. Depending on where you are located may not be the easiest product to find, but they are great elastomeric coatings for exterior surfaces. Pretty easy to apply..

good luck!
