After getting 5 estimates for ext. painting on our Fl. home, I'm confused as to whether elastomeric is better than acrylic. Our house is stucco, one coat of paint, 6 yrs. old and not moist or moldy. We want the best so should we go with acrylic or elastomeric coating? Thanks

my understanding is elastomeric and stucco are the correct blend

I would do an elastomeric if you want a wind driven rain resistant finish. My system if you want best is loxon xp at 10dft and con flex at 10dft. You should be able to get both locally at SW. That's a high end system you should be able to pull the data pages also to confirm my dft numbers. I'm just generalizing without checking dry film from SW
