Duratemp Siding (Can it be stained?)
 

Homeowner is planning on installing Duratemp siding on her house. Not quite sure what it is made of, but, it comes pre-primed. Homeowner (and myself) are wondering if Duratemp can be STAINED? The homeowners are wanting to stain before installing to save them a step of climbing up and down ladders, etc. Suggestions?

My initial thought is that a solid color stain would be fine, but, I wanted to check in with the Painterschatroom crew to be sure.

Never used it before but this post suggest it needs to be painted not stained.
