Question

Dulux Trade Satinwood problem?

I inherited from a professional decorator three years ago a tin of Dulux Trade "light base" satinwood paint. It had been used on some doors in our house successfully.

Yesterday, I wanted to use it to paint some other doors. I opened the tin and stirred as it had separated. After applying the paint (with a brush) to two doors, it still does not appear to have dried after 22 hours.
Is this normal or what is going on? The tin does say that recoat time is 16-24 hours.
If it has gone horribly wrong, what can I do about i?

Many thanks,

peter
