Devflex Waterborne Acrylic

Just curious if anyone has used this product before on a regular basis. I'm working in a high end residential and all the basement trim is done in this. Originally, the client thought the trim was clear coated after being applied, which sounded odd. Actually, it was sprayed with this product.

If you have used this or a similar waterborne product interested to hear your opinions as far as application, etc..

thanks,
Kevin

I use a couple hundred gallons or more of Devflex each year.

its a great industrial coating. I would not use it on residential applications but have used it on wood at restaurants with great results.

what do you want to know about it?

it sprays great - flashes in hot weather if you are a bad spray man
it brushes and rolls great
it performs good.

has decent gloss and color retention.

Hey Nav,

Thanks for the info. Any particular reason you would not use it in a residential application?

thanks,
Kevin
