Cost to texture part of a room

I have a bedroom that had wallpaper on the bottom 1/3rd of the wall down to the carpet. I removed the wallpaper but that part of the wall doesn't have texture. The top 2/3rds of the wall has a knockdown texture. I've called this handyman service place to get a free estimate on how much it would cost to have them spray a knockdown texture where the wallpaper use to be. Does anybody know how much I should expect this estimate to be?

Well, a somewhat simple way to estimate it is this....

1 man per 8 hour day will cost (give or take) $200-350 for labor.

Add materials and then labor, then determine if you think it's fair.

It really all depends on what they charge....you could just ask them their hourly rate....

But overall it sounds like a good price, since it is a somewhat messy job!

It is messy
And the cost is mostly labor, which will vary greatly due to the region you are in
...and I mean greatly
What's a bargain here would make someone from Wisconsin or Arizona faint

The best way to determine the going rate for your area is to get 3-5 quotes
You can throw out any really high or really low ones
