concrete stain on exterior foundation

I plan to stain an exterior cement (parged over cinder block) crawl space wall. The parging is intact, but some areas have been discolored by the NC red clay that splashes up in heavy rains. What product should I use to try to clean the clay? I will use SW exterior latex stain. Do I need to prep any more than hosing/brushing?

Sounds like your using H&C concrete stain from SW, they also sell a pre-prep concrete cleaner there made by H&C. You should also apply a clear coat of H&C clear sealer over your stain.
