Which clear topcoat?
I'm looking for suggestions. I stained an exterior fiberglass door with Minwax gel stain. It gets very little exposure to rain and sun. I want to coat it with a high gloss clear. I just want to do 1 coat and if I have to recoat every year thats fine. I'm in south Florida so cold/freezing is not an issue. What do you think?
thanks, Jim |

Which clear topcoat?
Good luck with that idea, with just one coat better plan on have to sand and reseal every year. Just not going to be enough build up.
This is the best longest lasting finish I have ever used. If it will hold up on a boat used in salt water in direct sun, it sure will hold up on a door. It's not cheap but well worth it for eaze of use. http://bristolfinish.com/ |
