Clear coating metal ballisters

The finish on metal ballisters in an outside railing has become dull. They have a petina powder coated finish. What product should I use to protect the ballisters from continued damage from weater exposure? I will need to wipe on the product with a cloth/sponge. I'm hoping not to do a light sand because of damage to the paint, and want to avoid yellowing over time. Also, I live in Alaska.

Good question. Acrylic DTM in a clear finish. Or some type of similar product, but definitely an acrylic. An oil based product will yellow, and most epoxies dont hold up with the exterior UV exposure.

Acrylic 2 part Aliphatic Urethane. Something like Devoe Devthane 379.
