cleaning paint sprayer

So I just bought a new paint sprayer. A Graco ultra Max II 695. Is there something I can apply to the spray hose so that it is easier to clean? Armorall maybe? cooking spray? I'd like to keep it looking new as long as possible. Any ideas?

You can try it. Theres going to be paint on it regardless. Keep the strainer clean thats more important.

I use blue painters tape on my sprayer hose. The tape is covered with overspray, but underneath the hose is clean.

You could do as rental places do and use a plastic sheeting that covers your hoses
