Chrome paint on plastic
For whatever reason, mine alone maybe, I want to paint two plastic pieces "Chrome". I have painted plastic items many times before with those paints for plastic. I cannot find a Chrome paint just for plastic, but have primer for plastic. I'm thinking two coats of primer, light sanding in between coats, and then two coats of "Chrome", also very light sanding between coats. Then a good coat of clear. Anyone have another suggestion on this? David

I did just that with the copper pipes in the bathroom and the plastic waste pipe. My wife kept on about chrome pipes when I did the bathroom out about 5 years ago, but they were really expensive so I sprayed them with chrome paint. I never told her what I had done and she never realised. As yo can see from the photo they have faded a bit, but i might give them another coat next year.

Thanks for the note on the "Testor" paint. I used Testor years ago with model cars and had forgotten about it. I'll go seek, and I shall find. David
